Fire ring through Quartz window on Hybrid package.
The information that I am presenting here is my part of a larger story. I have thousands of hours of actual operation and development time on many types of applications. What I am going to tell you about are my experiences that I have had in the past decade working on these machines in five different countries. I have personally operated and maintained engines running on propane, natural gas, hydrogen, landfill gas, wastewater digester gas, palm oil, and sunlight including a project running on sunlight and natural gas at the same time. Most of the information that I have found about Stirling engines are either from people who have never actually built a Stirling engine or have built toy models that are good for demonstration but serve no other purpose and have little in common with the high efficiency, high output units that I will be talking about.
